Discord Manager
The discord manager is used to setup webhooks and send custom messages aswell as setting the discord link.
Setting up the discord join url
The join url is used on the website for Join Discord buttons And also ingame using /discord. To set it enter a invite URL into the discord Join URL box and click Update or Save If you ever wanna remove the url click Disable
Make sure your invite url never expires! otherwise people cannot use it anymore when it does
Managing Webhooks
A webhook is a url that messages can be send to. The plugin interacts with the website that in his turn can send webhook messages to your discord.
Getting a webhook for a channel
To get a webhook Right Click a channel and click edit channel on your discord server Under Intergrations tab click Create Webhook you will see a new webhook appearing. Click the webhook and then Click Copy Webhook URL This is the hook url we use on mine-net.
Setting the General Webhook
After getting the webhook for the channel you want to receive messages on Click EDIT HOOK behind the General item in the list. Now Paste the Webhook you copied and click SAVE and Enable. The General hook is used for Custom embeds and for all messages from modules you havent set a hook for. To disable it again click Save and Disable hook Note when General is Disabled and other hooks arent set no messages will be send to your discord.
Module Hooks
The Module hooks are setup the same as the General hook. The difference is that they bind to the module So for example if you set a hook for Members then any messages from the Members module will be send to that hook This means you can have different channels receiving different messages.
Customizing the look for your bot.
All messages are send by the Mine-Net bot you do not need to invite the bot you can however Edit the looks. On the left box called Discord Bot Design you can edit its Name its AvatarURL (image url) and its Color When done click Save Design any new messages send will use the new design!
Sending a Custom Message
When you have a General Hook set you can send custom messages. So called Embeds. On the left you find a box called Send Custom Embed. in here you can enter a Title and a message to send to the General Hook. Click Send Embed to send it and see it appearing in the design you set and the title and message you just made!
